Nemo Anyudan Zhao currently serves as the Manager, Database & Donor Relations at West Point Grey Academy, where she works at the intersection of the art and science of fundraising, furthering institutional priorities through strategic donor relations, data, and advancement initiatives.

Previously, Nemo worked at UBC for nine years, most recently as Advancement Officer, Regional & Global Development at the Development & Alumni Engagement Office. She managed domestic and international development visit programs for three UBC Presidents, and was part of the development team that secured multi-million-dollar philanthropic gifts in support of UBC’s campaign priorities.

Beyond her professional role, Nemo volunteers as Manager, Strategic Stakeholder Engagement for Vancouver Startup Week (VSW), working alongside the Co-Chair to grow the portfolio. Since 2024, she has also been elected and re-elected each subsequent term to her local strata council in Metro Vancouver, contributing to governance, financial oversight, and long-term planning for a $1.5 million annual operating budget.

Nemo holds a BA in History and Economics from UBC, and has completed summer programs at Harvard University and McGill University. Outside of work, she enjoys marathon training, boxing, squash, and climbing.
